Moscou, 28 avril 2013 – Carol-Ann Ware, de Beloeil, au Québec, a terminé septième, dimanche, à la tour féminine de 10 mètres pour conclure la quatrième étape du circuit de la Série mondiale de plongeon de la FINA.
Si Yajie a conduit la Chine à un doublé avec Ruolin Chen qui a terminé deuxième et Yulia Koltunova, de Russie, troisième. Ware a terminé quatrième dans sa demi-finale. Les trois premières de chaque demi-finale passaient en finale.
Ware avait aussi terminé quatrième avec sa soeur Pamela, vendredi, à la tour synchronisée de 10 mètres, tandis que Pamela Ware s’est classée quatrième au tremplin individuel de trois mètres, samedi.
Les soeurs Ware et les autres meilleurs plongeurs du Canada affronteront plus tard cette semaine un peloton international d’étoiles dans le Grand Prix de la Coupe Canada du 2 au 5 mai à Gatineau, au Québec.

CAROL-ANN WARE SEVENTH AT DIVING WORLD SERIES
Moscow, April 28th 2013 – Carol-Ann Ware of Beloeil, Que., finished seventh on Sunday on women’s 10-metre tower to conclude the fourth stop on the FINA World Series diving circuit.
Si Yajie led China to a 1-2 finish with Ruolin Chen second and Yulia Koltunova of Russia third.
Ware was fourth in her semifinal heat. The top-three in each of the two morning semis advanced to the final.
Ware was also fourth with her sister Pamela on Friday in 10-metre synchro on Friday while Pamela Ware was fourth on individual three-metre on Saturday.
The Ware sisters and Canada’s other top divers compete later this week against a stellar international field at the Canada Cup Grand Prix May 2-5 in Gatineau, Que.
